Our Ds just received his instructions this weekend. A couple questions to help clarify things. First, as far as we have read we need no dental records is this correct? Secondly, he filled out all the security papers and did not see any thing to have local police fill out, is there anything they need to fill out? I thought from reading this forum there was a need for dental and police info and i am just checking to see if we may have missed anything. Thanks for any help.

Yes, you are correct. They will do everything for the dental x-ray's. I asked the same question about the security clearance, but I believe that it is USMA or USNA that wants that. USAFA does not require anything from your police station. So the answer to both your questions is no.

Later,

Brian

I was wondering about the police report as well. Thanks pos2013falcon for asking :shake:

Did you get this after the BFE? I have received the letter stating my appointment and have accepted it, but I have yet to receive anything else. How long did it take for you guys' to come in the mail?

Thanks.

It seems like it took a couple of weeks for the information to appointees came after acceptance of the appointment. And, it is the USMA which requires appointees to visit their local police station. Navy may, but I know that USMA does. To my understanding, USAFA does not require such, and they do not require dental records although it is clear they encourage you to show up ready to go. Take care.

mn14,

My son signed his acceptance in early march and we just got the big packet on Saturday. He called is adissions counselor last week to see when it was coming. Good luck.

About 3 weeks

Acceptance mailed April 15th, BWE arrived May 7.
