I can't seem to find any information regarding his application packet, or how he runs his nomination process in general. Could someone who applied to him last year or is going to this year direct me to the application / where I can find any information on his process? Any assistance would be appreciated.

First try on-line. Most MOCs have information about applying to SAs on their website.

Second, call the local district office and ask to speak to their "Service Academy Coordinator." Again, most members have one and that person can give you the information you seek.

Many MOCs are also closing out 18's files currently, thus they may not yet have opened 19's applications.

There is no benefit to being the first submitted because MOCs nominations are not rolling. IOWS they will not give any nom until the due date is passed. I think their deadline is end of Sept/early Oct.

Also NJ is known to be very late in submtting their noms. usually around Jan. when they submit to the SAs.

Thanks for the replies. I did check the website, but unlike our other Senator and my Representative he did not have a section of the website for nominations. I will check again but if I still can't locate it or it if it doesn't exist ill take your advice and call.

Not like what? Rolling or submitting their slate until January? Hate to tell you, but they are both. No MOC that I know of does a rolling nom. If you look at NJ nom threads you will see they typically drop their slate late.

Also Booker is unique since he was a special election. Last year he and Chiesa split their slate with both noming 5 of the 10. This will be his first full slate.

Every MOC will be briefed by the SA office located in the Pentagon. This office will tell them how many charges they have available to them for this years group. They will be informed of what they must adhere to legally regarding the process. This occurs in July. It maybe because this will be Bookers first slate they are waiting for the briefing before adding this to their constituents page.
~~~ As I said before the MOCs do not have to submit their slate until the end of January. There is more than enough time for them to get the application on their web page.
Also every MOC has a different system. Our DS found out his 3 noms from the NC MOCs at 3 different times, even though they all had the same deadline for applications.(9/30)
~ Sen Dole ----Thanksgiving. No interview. Letter sent
~ Sen. Burr ---- January 15th, interviewed Jan 9th. Letter sent
~ Cong. Butterfield ---- January 31st. No interview. AFA portal. Letter sent Feb.
Applying to an SA is a marathon, not a sprint. Be prepared to not know if you have an MOC nom until Thanksgiving at the earliest .
^^ I agree. For the NOM there is a window of opportunity when you are permitted to submit your application. Be late and you are OUT of the running. There are no 'bonus' points for being the first to submit!!!! They gather all applications and then schedule interviews (where applicable) and then the NOM's are issued. It is definitely NOT rolling. Getting a NOM is only one part of the application process, but hopefully all who participate here are aware of that.
Since it is only July, the process for next year's class will just be getting underway.
Another tip about submitting your non request. Mail it signature requested. This way you will have proof that it was delivered and the person that received it.
Be smart to not wait until you have to FedEX overnight. Mail it about a week prior, and then call the office a few days prior to make sure they have it and it is complete. This way if there is an issue you will have time to overnight it.
Seriously there have been posters here that pieces were missing and because they did follow ups they were able to get it in on time.
