Hello. I have a couple questions. Are there any programs at Norwich University that are directed towards the NROTC (marine option) branch? Are the cadets from the NROTC (marine option) program allowed to participate in, say, the Ranger unit if they would like?

Also, as a high school junior I have a 3.01 cumulative unweighted GPA. Is that good enough to get into Norwich University?

    Thanks,

I would appreciate it if anybody (grads, cadets, or otherwise) have anything about my questions. Thanks for the help so far though, don't get me wrong. Also I do have one more question. Do all cadets upon graduation recieve a saber, or are those reserved for the regimental staff? I know this question is kind of beside the point for an academy forum but I've researched it, and have'nt been able to find anything.

Tradition has it that US Military Officers buy their own uniforms.
(Marine Officer's Mameluke Sword part of the uniform)

Cost is about $500 and a popular graduation gift. (Hint Hint) LINK
(Marlow White's German made swords have a good reputation)
