These are some nice photos. They all look really tired throughout.

I'm just curious, but in one of the pictures it has a mini chalkboard on how to report. It goes, "Sir/Ma'am, New Cadet... and than it goes "second to none, sir/ma'am!" What does second to none indicate?

    2nd to none

although i can't see the photos , it probably refers to their company response to a question. I would guess their company is A-2, B-2, C-2, etc...

Nope. There are no regimental affiliations for CBT companies. You're thinking of academic year companies, where the numeric portion refers to the regiment, e.g. A-2 is A Co, 2nd Regiment. There is only one regiment in CBT.

The "Second to None" response is for the company affiliated with the 2nd Infantry Division. In some photos, you see the indian head patch of 2ID displayed. Each company is affiliated with a division. A Co is usually 1st Cav or 1ID. B Co is usually affiliated with 2ID, hence they respond with the 2ID motto of "Second to None." A Co would say something like "First Team" (that's what they said in my day, but I can't be sure what they're using now).

Long story short, it's the motto of their company for CBT.
