Raced Against USCGA Novice Rowing Today

I just got back from my regatta and among the crews we raced against in Shrewsbury, Mass was the USCGA novice crew (I'm on UCONN Crew)! USCGA passed us early, but we were close together most of the time.

Anyway, at the end of the 5K, I was able to talk to some of them and found that some of my friends from AIM were in their companies or knew them really well. It was such an awesome experience and has strengthened my resolve to reapply to the Academy after this semester.

Great...that is a fun race. Didn't realize you were doing crew. Make sure you let the coaches know your involvement.:thumb:
 
USCGA Novice boat came in 4th! It was a great day for racing.
 
what regatta, i'm from Mass? have you ever seen bromfield crew? that was my old team before i moved to china:frown: god i miss it! love to row! cant wait to get to college!!! rowing the head of the fish, and Charles as a freshman in high school was a daunting task!
