Razor choice?

I believe it was suggested a regular during Indoc and then you could use the electric afterwards although my DS took both.

I vote for whichever you are more comfortable and fast with.
Personally I used an electric. Part of that was because I didn't and still don't have a heavy beard. Those who are prone to have a five o'clock shadow at noon might be best served by a manual razor to get a better shave for Indoc.

go with manual. they will make you put shaving cream on your face before shaving in the evening anyway. plus, technically youre not allowed to have anything powered by batteries during Indoc (calculators for the math test excepted).
