My DS is currently enrolled in a military college and participating in the NRTOC program (and studying engineering). He is re-applying for the NROTC 4 year scholarship. He has two questions as it relates to the application. He has received conflicting information in regards to these questions. Question 1: Does he list his HS or college counselor as his reference #1 on the application ("please supply the name and address of your counselor....")? Question 2: Does this person (i.e. reference #1) actually write a recommendation letter or do they just supply a transcript? He is doing well in college (anticipated 3.5 GPA for first semester). Thank you for any clarity.
