A quote from Luigi in an earlier thread: "If your application is considered "competitive" for an appointment, your name will be forwarded to DODMERB (via the contractor Concorde, I believe).

    If not, it won't."

DS is a reapplicant, in RA, and spoke with his AO this morning to update him on the status of his remedials.
AO stated that his application had not come up for review yet.

If his application has not been reviewed, did DS receive correspondence from DoDMERB/Concorde because he is a reapplicant and already in the system, rather than because he is considered competitive?

DoDMERB exams are good for a 24 month period.

    Not sure?

My son got the DodMerb forms and he has scheduled his appointments. Is there any way of knowing if they were initiated by NROTC scholarship or USCGA (since he has applied for both)? Just wondering if it was a "good" sign from the USCGA that he is being considered.
