I had a 3.2 GPA. I know, it's low, life affected my academic performance. If I manage a 4.0 in college and enrolled in AFROTC, how would USAFA weigh that? Would it offset my high school record? Thank you in advance.

All of this would weigh VERY highly in your favor. Would it be enough? Nobody can tell you but I can tell you that college applicants are viewed differently from HS applicants.

The key thing is: "can the HS student succeed in college?" We don't know so we look at GPA, SAT/ACT, etc. With a college student, if your course load "mimics" that of the SA...the question of whether or not you can succeed might be looking better with such a performance! NO guarantee's, but IMHO...

A net positive! :thumb:

Thank You for the response! Of course no guarantees, nothing ever is. This is good news for me because it tells me I can correct a mistake.
