Received Nomination but not a Potential Candidate

Hello, this is my first thread but I'm not new to this forum, I've been a frequent observer for two years now.

I'm a reapplying candidate for the US Naval Academy and I have a recent development and an interesting situation for which I seek a little advice.

I received an e-mail, about an hour ago, from my local US Representative's service academy liaison; I was informed that while attempting to submit my nomination to the Naval Academy, I was not listed as a potential candidate. The liaison asked whether my address was correct or whether I had completed all my information for the Naval Academy. I e-mailed my BGO about the situation and forwarded the e-mail to my region admission's officer; I also called the admissions office, unfortunately, the office was obviously closed.

In my response to the liaison I quoted the exact address listed on my candidate page, and explained that I'm awaiting the pending submission of my math teacher's recommendation.

Now, has anyone else run into this situation before? If so, was it a sign of rejection or just an error?

Hopefully this situation is not a problem or a foreshadow of a TWE.

Thank you and I appreciate your help as well as time in advance.

Can you provide the liaison your candidate number? Every official candidate has one.

The liaison has my candidate number as well as all of my other information.

She informed me this morning that it was not an issue of having the correct information and that I was not on the list of potential candidates for her office.

If your application isn't complete (math teachers rec) you may still be considered an applicant vs candidate. Also, I know for some, they don't switch over from applicant to candidate until they recieve your nomination, so that may hold true for usna too.
