I am going up to the Academy for the STEP program on November 12th. I applied EA phase 1 and on October 22nd, my application was reviewed. Would it be possible for me to find out my admission decision when I visit on the 12th?

Doubtful, I don't think appointments have ever been awarded that early before.

But I would never say never.

Doubtful? Yes.

Impossible? No.

How do you know that your record has been reviewed??

They sent me a letter in the mail saying that they forwarded my application to the review board. I assumed that meant they were getting ready to review it as well.

DS also received a letter on 10/25. The letter stated that his application has been forwarded to the Cadet Candidate Evaluation Board for review in Group one EA program. The letter also stated that they would notify him of their decision no later then 12/24. So........ I do think we will start to stalk the mailman until 12/20:shake:
Good Luck JennaG!!!

What if no letter is received?

I'm a little concerned. We haven't received a letter that the admissions packet has been forwarded to the Review Board. However, the lack list is all greyed out (meaning all materials have been received).

Should we follow up with a phone call to inquire?

Thanks to all for the great questions, replies and also supportive comments.

Thanks, rangermom, good luck to you as well!

Also, run4yourlife, I would call just to be sure. If your lack list is grayed-out, I wouldn't be too worried. My letter was dated October 22nd and I didn't receive it until about a week later. Sometimes they are a little slow to get mail out since they're so busy. But a phone call can never hurt! Good luck!

There is no need to call. If your lack list is shown as complete (all forms processed), there is no doubt that your file is "CCEB-ready" and will soon (if not already) go before the board.

Translation: "Please be patient and wait for further instructions" :shake::shake::shake:
