Somewhat surprised this has not been made yet. We are almost there. Just think, in under three weeks we will be recognized, then we have spring break.

17 DAYS

hahah....i feel like its always something else. Last semester during checkpoints class mate said "days until graduation for class of 2010, if they make it: 200(something, cant remember)" It was hilarious!! Upperclassmen were caught off guard on that one...

no, we were told we'd make it. You guys on the other hand..

15 Days!

Looks like a "practice recognition" this weekend judging by the ROE's we were sent.

We will see. Not even the squadron MTE staffs have the Recognition plans yet.

Our squad comm just sent out the ROE's. Sounds like it's real. Get Up for it!

CadCandMateus, nice of you to join our squad for training today.

hah, i told you i knew you. Can't believe you didn't know!

And yea anytime man, i had fun.

I remember this particular weekend last year. It was pretty much the recognition before recognition. Good times!

Why am I still awake?

Bummer you beat me to it. Yeah how can you stay up that late. Pretty proud to say that the latest I have been up is 11:30. I am in bed by taps nearly every night.

My cadet's squadron is going to their squadron sponsor base March 4-8 - right before recognition. Thought is was kind of an odd thing to do given they are in the countdown to recognition but he is excited about it. Flying them out of Peterson on C130s. They are leaving next Thursday afternoon and getting back around midday on Monday. I am very excited for him as A-10 fighters are based there, and each cadet gets a ride on an HH-60 helicopter (similar to the Army's Blackhawk) as well as watching Heritage flight practices.

How do you do it? Do you get everything done on time?!?

Btw, does anyone know a former sophomore (Third year?) cadet named Jon Allaire? He left the Academy and wound up at my ROTC detachment.

A little late but.......

12 DAYS!

This weekend was no joke, at least for my squad. Friday night was a pool training session lead by several STO/CRO's. This morning was just as bad.
