My DS already submitted his two extra recs but a third and very qualified person just offered to write one. What should we do? We can't revoke a recommendation letter request? One person already submitted.

My DS already submitted his two extra recs but a third and very qualified person just offered to write one. What should we do? We can't revoke a recommendation letter request? One person already submitted.

Applicants can delete/revoke recommendation requests at any point prior to the recommender actually submitting their letter of recommendation; however, once the letter of recommendation is submitted, the applicant would need to contact their Admissions Officer to remove that letter from their record and "free up" the spot for a different recommendation request.
