We've survived today's entrusting of our "baby" boy to USAFA. Quite a day! Very proud of him and all ~1200 members of the class of 2018. But I'm curious about the red/orange ball caps that many of the Basics were wearing as they entered Inprocessing. Anyone know their significance? Best wishes to all the 2018 parents out there.

This is their class color. They will be RTB(Red Tag Bas**ards) forever now! My daughter just graduated and that was her class color. They rotate every year. Silver, Blue, Yellow/Gold, and Red. There is much history there, good to google.
