Regarding LOE's

I received an LOE a few weeks ago and I am curious as to what exactly this means with regards to competitiveness of file/appointment chances. I understand that the volume of LOE's/LOA's sent out vary year to year. Any idea on how many will go out this year and how much more competitive a file with an LOE becomes?

LOE is not a good indicator of competitiveness, it's a good indicator if you will be academically qualified.
