For each region (I'm in region 2) how many admissions officers are there? Just one?
There are 4. Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, West.
How many officers exist for each specific region?
Your kidding right.... (look at the number of regions he named and then how many officers he said there were)
There is one Regional Director for each region. There is also a diversity admissions officer for each region and, I believe, a field diversity officer for each region. Yes, they cover a lot of territory/students -- that's why there are about 2,500 BGOs to help.
Exactly. And delving into the arena of possibly TMI, but before someone asks, if a school uses weighted scores for honors and AP courses to determine class standing, the scores are adjusted such that the candidate does not receive credit for both the inflated class standing and the individual inputs for each course. Don't ask me how but it is probably why sometimes individuals have trouble contacting the CGO. Not seriously.
Notice the trend here. Take the difficult courses and do the best you can and you will be rewarded.
