First child applying and confused! Son just logged into the website and saw he had a remedial requested for 4 minor things.

1. He has a mole on his neck. They want it looked at.
2. At the time of exam he still had braces on his teeth. (Braces off last week.)
3. They forgot to record his pulse at the exam so he needs his pulse retaken.
4. They need details of all his physical fitness activities and sports.

He just saw a list on the site. It stated something was mailed 9/19 but he has not received anything. Will he be receiving a letter on how to proceed to get these items cleared or where does he get instructions?

Thank you in advance for any assistance!

If you don't receive the letter by middle of next week, call or email, dodmets for status of the letter.
All of these items are easily remedied, so I would not worry too much.

There is a DoDMERB form for orthodontia that your orthodontist signs certifying your child's projected date of appliance removal. You can be proactive and have this completed ahead of time.

Thank you so much for your response and the information. That is very helpful!

No need to wait for the letter. You can call DoDMERB. The rep for your area will be listed on the website. I found them to be very helpful. They can direct you to any necessary forms on the website or email them to you.

My son had to go back because they forgot to measure his seated height:)
