Remidials

I recently received these remedials:

R152.15, R251.22, R242.01, R252.90, R220.00

I've checked the list and I know what they mean and what I have to do. My question though is, what is a remedial? Is it just a request for more information on a certain issue or is it something that will DQ me? Thanks for your responses.
