Request for Academic Information Form

I'm taking about before July 1st, what does West Point use to open your portal. Mine hasn't opened yet. It probably is because of my transcript. My guidance counselor may have mailed instead of emailed it to the women in charge of the northeast.
I don't think your portal opening has anything to do with your transcript arriving. West Point has not requested me to send my transcript in, has West Point requested you to send your transcript in?

@EVDfootball you put SAT scores in the 1400s on another page and said red flag (assuming that is all three parts). I wouldn't open your application with scores that low (less than 500 per section) since you wouldn't qualify academically, and I especially wouldn't open up your file early.

Get your test scores up. That means before your file is likely to open (you will see initial evaluation pending and/or closed since your RC might close it), you need to take the SAT or ACT, so you are reasonably looking at October before you get scores in there that will trigger opening your file.

That can't possibly be a right for opening up the initial evaluation because I had a SAT of 2200+ and they still haven't opened up my initial evaluation as well. Granted I just had my counselor submit my transcript...
Why did you have your counselor submit your transcript? Did West Point request your transcript? They haven't requested me to send mine in.

Yo, didn't you read the email from Catherine Muller? She said we need to start handing in our transcripts to her. She even emailed me because I hadn't handed it in yet.

No, I have not received that email. When did you receive this email?

First you are supposed to tell your school you send in your sixth semester transcript. Get on that now. I now I f up on the sat, bit I am applying to USNA and was official candidate with those scores, red flag means my sat score overall, it is 500 math, 500 critical reading, 490 writing, Cathy muller sent me that email on March 25, it "takes time" in my school to process end of year grades. But they should have my transcript this week. I have all a one b plus

I never received any email telling me to send in my transcript. That is strange.
Are you from the northeast, because if you remembered the application opened on January 15, I started it on that day and received an email from the northeast coordinator that I had to send in my transcript and a resume of my high school career.

No, I'm not from the northeast.

It says here I'm supposed to send in my initial transcript though so I guess it's on me for not checking the timeline. I wonder if a lot of applicants didn't submit their initial transcripts.

Football, because he's from another region his regional commander might have a different procedure than ours.

Guys even if you send your SAT scores to Catherine, when your portal opens up West Point still requires you send them directly to their admissions office through college board. Like I said, my portal opened up a few months ago because I'm a recruited athlete so my application is almost complete. But my counselor did send in my transcript and filled out the academic profile. When your portal opens you'll see a bunch of things with red xs next to them as you get them filled out ittl turn to green checks. It's super easy and self explanatory. You'll be fine. I believe the portal opens based on how much you have done, not how good your scores are.

And by the way, when your portal doe s open I suggest you send your SAT scores as one of the first thing. They take 2-4 weeks to get in and that can mess with deadlines. So get that done as quickly as possible. Hope I helped:)

And Frenzy, West Point didn't request us send our transcript, our northeast regional like admissions person did. West Point doesn't directly ask for anything, it's all through the portal guys. You have to take care of it. And as I found out, academic and transcript are two separate things, my counselor just took the initiative and sent it in without me asking.

One more thing, feel free to ask me any questions about the portal until yours opens, I'm totally open to answering questions:)
