You wouldn't be the first person to struggle a bit in calculus. While a 70-80 would likely not affect your acceptance, it does show you have not mastered the material and you need to improve your foundational knowledge of calculus. I would suggest you talk to your teacher (maybe with a few tests in hand) and determine exactly what your particular knowledge gaps are in the subject and see what he/she suggests you do to improve your skill set....then work on it. As classes get harder, a good foundation is critical to do well as subject matter advances. I have seen many students do "well" in a first level calculus but still having "gaps" then struggle as the material advances. Isolate the problems and then work toward fixing them. It's late in the schoolyear, yes, but knowing what your weaknesses are (specifically) should help you when you tackle the subject again at the academy. Sometimes its simply a matter of doing extra problems of a particular type....and then the light bulb goes off! Don't think of it as just "calculus" in general, get specific in finding the weaknesses. Once you fix the weak links of the foundation, you will likely struggle less with more advanced material. You can't fight the enemy until you know what it is!
