Can one decide to submit their own personal resume in addition to the Candidate Activities Record?

Better to send it to your liaison and have him or her take it, read it over, critique it, and send it in if appropriate. The Candidate Activities Record form is very "check-boxy"; I wasn't able to highlight everything I've done in one checkbox.
Also, your liaison is more than likely a lot better connected with your regional admissions team (you've known them for a year or two, they've worked with them for decades) so they know how it all goes down.
I know for Northeast we were required to submit a chronological resume at the end of our junior year.
