Retake SAT in January

Can I retake my SATs in January or would that be too risky and close to the application deadline?

The next SAT date is Jan. 24th. It would take two weeks to get my scores and more or less one week for the USNA admissions to receive them...:confused:
 
Looks like you may have to stick with the scores you have now. I don't think late January will work

You should go for it.
You are pushing the envelope, but this is what the USNA website says:

"We will accept any ACT or SAT test that is taken before the January 31 application deadline, even if the results arrive after January 31."

I thought you were right, but only decided to double check because I couldn't bear the thought of the OP possibly missing one more opportunity to improve. Lo and behold, it seems USNA syncs all the deadlines at January 31st.

USNA extended the deadline for test scores last year and anyone who had taken the January tests, got a review. Take it in January! :thumb:
