ROTC connected nomination

I was wondering how competitive it is to get a nomination through Army ROTC. I am reapplying to West Point and was wondering if anyone had info. Also, does anyone know how a typical MOC will consider someone that is reapplying for their nomination and an appointment? Thank you, I appreciate all of the answers.

Getting an ROTC nomination will probably not be all that difficult, however receiving an appointment from an ROTC nomination may be pretty competitive since the academies are limited to 20 ROTC related appointments each year. The 20 includes JROTC nominations. Not sure there is a typical MOC, but they should view your second request as a positive step. Shows you're dedicated and willing to keep trying.
