I have asked this question many times on this forum and I am still waiting for any type of answer.

I am going to college on a NROTC scholarship next year and I look to reapply to the Naval Academy. I have heard of a ROTC nomination, but I am unfamiliar with how it works. Could someone help me or answer my question?
    Thanks:shake:

Each Navy ROTC unit can nominate up to three candidates a year. These nominees compete with nominees from all the other ROTC units for 20 appointments. NJROTC, Marine JROTC, Honor Army JROTC and (I think) certain military schools can also nominate, so I would expect the pool of nominees competing for those 20 appointments to be pretty large. Whoever heads up the ROTC unit at your college should be able to help. Details & the nomination form are on the USNA Admissions website.
