I was just wondering if anyone knew and could inform me on when the finalization of the ROTC nominations happen for the Naval Academy. I have seen on the appointment thread that one person has already received theirs and I have heard they only charge twenty appointments for ROTC for the whole nation to each academy. Is it true they only charge twenty for each academy? On my portals for both USNA and USMA it says that I have received the nomination ROTCH and I am also triple qualified/admissible to both USNAand USMA. So since it says ROTCH does that mean I have received the ROTC nomination or does it mean that I am just in that national pool that twenty people will be chosen from. If I did receive it shouldn't I have already received an appointment because it has been on my portal since like the beginning of October on October 7th to be exact.

I think it was my post you saw which listed ROTC as the nomination source. If you want to PM me, I can send you a screen shot of my daughter's portal which shows you how her nomination displayed on her portal. She received an email from the Academy on November 10th which notified her she had received a ROTC nomination. It appeared on her portal about 10 days later. She received her appointment because she had previously received a LOA and the LOA matched with her nomination met the conditions to award the appointment.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to post or PM. I'm very new at this whole process but it's been an exciting journey and I've learned much from these boards. I'll be happy to return the favor as much as I can.
