SAME Engineering and Construction Camp @USAFA

Two years ago, my son applied and was accepted to the SAME Engineering and construction camp at USAFA. It is a wonderful opportunity to see the USAFA campus while participating in a variety of problem based learning opportunities, construction challenges, and team building activities. I have no proof, but I believe DS's participation helped his WCS for admission to the Academy.

You will need to be sponsored by a SAME post. They pay your airfare and half the camp registration fee. It is open to high school students who have completed their freshman year of high school and are interested in attending a SA.

Scholarship available

I forgot to mention that SAME awards a scholarship to a former camper who is NOT attending a SA. Great to have as a plan B.
