Hello,
I am a west point hopeful and was wondering the minimum SAT's scores for the point because I will admit that the SAT's are not the strongest part of my application, but I do have good academics, I am currently enrolled into Advanced Placement and Honor courses with a B+ average in my classes. I am more physically orientated as the captain of the RAIDERS team (PT), Varsity Wrestling. I also have a lot of leadership experience. Right now I am the commanding officer for my school's ROTC battalion. Thanks for helping me out and spending your time reading this thread.

Here are the SAT scores for 2012 (keep in mind that you are using best score from each section ...so retake until you get 2400)
College Board Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) Scores*
Range Verbal Math
700-800 18% 22%
600-699 48% 57%
500-599 31% 20%
400-499 3% 1%
300-399 0% 0%
Mean 626 648

*Includes only scores used as a basis for admission.

I don't think there is a minimum SAT or ACT score list anywhere, but it is in your best interest to take the test as many times as possible in order to achieve the highest score you can.

Profile of the Class of 2012

Range Verbal Math
700-800 19% 22%
600-699 50% 54%
500-599 28% 23%
400-499 3% 1%
300-399 0% 0%
Mean 631 646

If you didn't do the best on the SAT, it might be in your best interest to try the ACT, different test, so you might do better.

There is both an ACT and SAT test coming up soon, so see if you can sign up to take one or both of them - might be too late though.

There is no official minimum. To be competitive it is recommended you get at least a 1200 in the two parts they look at the most (forgot what they were).

You might want to get more than one source for leadership experience besides JROTC. Maybe student government or something like that.
