    Hi.

I was wondering how the nominating committees usually rank / compare SAT vs ACT scores. Do they use a conversion table to find the SAT / ACT equivalents, or do they look at national percentiles for each of the tests? Or - do they use some other method?

    Just curious.

There are no rules about how the MOC's choose nominees, nevermind apply SAT scores. It is common that they use the SAT/ACTs guidelines used by the respective academies, but there are no rules that they are required to follow. You can ask the MOC Liaison perhaps. Do your best and plan on taking the tests more than once. Good Luck.
