I recently scheduled my eye appointment for September 12th before I called to schedule a physical examination, however I was told by the DoDMERB agency that I do not have to schedule a physical, I could just walk in between 7am-9pm Mon-Fri (or something like that) and they'd take me. However, I was really confused when I heard this because I was under the assumption that a physical is going to take at least an hour, and everyone else on here seems to have to schedule appointments (not to mention that DoDMERB wants you to mark in your appts. online).. Just seems a little odd to me and I'm wondering if I should call back to make sure something isn't up. Also, if it's true that I can just walk in, can I take care of my physical before my eye exam just to get it over with?
    Thanks!!

Mine is the same way. Just put the day you'll go and a rough time estimate. (At least that's what I did)

Additionally, if you place one exam date into DoDMETS, your status will change to "pending". This essentially prevents our system from inactivating you.

After you go to your appointment - if the facility is of a walk-in variety - come online to DoDMETS and let us know that you went in that same day. This will avoid confusion and give us an accurate date for which to follow up on your examinations.

    Thanks,
    Joe
