I am almost done with my NROTC app and a school I am interested in (the University of Maryland at College Park) is not on there. Heck, the entire state of Maryland doesn't even show up and I know it offers NROTC. So i am wondering if there is a parent school in another state or something. Any info would be appreciated. Should I call the NROTC contact for my area?

Ag is correct as usual. UMDCP NROTC mids will go to GWU for ROTC. UMDCP is host college for A/AFROTC. Centh's son is at UMDCP in NROTC on scholarship, I believe he is a rising jr. He is very active in their unit. He not only travels in for ROTC, but also to hang with the cadre at night. Most units have a "GMC" night. This is where they hang out 1x a week, order in pizza, play Xbox, etc. It varies unit to unit, but you get the gist.
You can get to GWU by Metro which is located right off the campus. If you are not from this area just realize that at 5 a.m. it is considered commuter hours. Buy yourself a smart card because it is easier since it is reloadable.
