I just had a few questions:

    1. I was thinking that I could go shopping for school supplies before I leave so that I don't have to buy everything at the academy. Firstly, is that allowed? And are we allowed to have any kind of school materials we need or are there stipulations?

    2. I was interested in managing a team at the academy, how would I go about doing that and which teams would be good to manage?

    Thanks!

    1. I'm pretty sure a scientific calculator is the optional, if you wanted to bring it. Otherwise I think it'll be a hassel to haul unneeded stuff during inprocessing.
    2. No idea.

I would not be bringing it with me to inprocessing, I would have my parents send it to me once the academic year started. Just wondering if I am allowed to do that.

The basic stuff is issued, and anything else you need is available at the C-store, BX, or in Colorado Springs.

Don't bring extra stuff to I-day. It gets heavy!

as for managing a team, contact the team that you're interested in. We had 2 basketball managers and a lacrosse manager this year. All three freshmen.

Be cautious though- at least in my squad, the managers weren't popular with upperclassmen, since they missed a lot of training...
