SCUBA Team

Does anyone know how tough it is to make the SCUBA team? I know they only take four plebes every year. What do the tryouts consist of? What suggestions does anyone have to make the team?

They will smoke you for a whole day. This year it started at 0530 on a Sunday morning. Tryouts for teams like SCUBA, Combat Weapons Team, and Jump Team are extremely tough since there is high interest but no real way of having try outs (like they can't just put you in a pool and tell you to dive). All I can suggest is a ton of running and cross fit type workouts (by crossfit I don't exactly mean the program, I mean the style like a variety of mixed constant high intensity activities).

I went to some of their meetings and personally know someone in the team and I will tell you that its definatelly worth it. They spent a week in Egypt this year to dive.
