I received an SDVET nomination (Service Deceased Veteran) for my father's service (our family received all the benefits so no problems there) I realize that this is a different playing field then Presidential Nominations. What my question is: how competitive is this field? I read on one of these forums that they allow up to 65 appointments but average around 16 qualified, for my sake I hope this would be the case.
