Sea Bags NOT delivered by Airlines!!

I just found out from a friend via facebook that four midshipmen from KP, (my ds being one of them) don't have their sea bags b/c the airlines messed up. They have been at sea since the 15th. What is it they learned at the Academy to do if they don't have their bags? I'm sure they aren't the first and won't be the last. They will be arriving in Said, Egypt in a couple of days, so perhaps there is an airport nearby and the bags could be delivered to their ship? Any input from experienced folks would be helpful. Lost luggage

Lost luggage is one of the most frequent hazards of traveling. I have found that the airlines eventually find them. The cadets should alert their ATR of the situation as soon as it was determined the bags were lost. The cadets most likely alerted the agent in the port where the bags were lost to have them forwarded. The ATR will be able to coordinate with Company/Ships agent.

Well, all is going to be well. They made their contacts even before they left Trinidad. (Of course WE didn't know that). Their bags will be delivered to them in Suez. Thanks for the enlightenment.
