    Hey Everybody,

Is anyone else here an applicant for the second board of the Army ROTC High School Scholarship. I am starting to get a bit anxious as I know the board is meeting. Just wanted to see if any other applicants are out there so hopefully we can congratulate each other if we get the scholarships!!!! One question as well does anyone know approximately when the scholarship decisions will be announced/ and has anyone gotten on yet from the second board? Thanks Guys!

You are correct that the board is scheduled to meet this week, beginning January 5th. It's likely to take until near the end of the month before they issue a barrage of scholarship offers. Chillax and good luck.

Haha, same here; I've been (and will continue to) obsessively check my application for any indication that it's been reviewed since monday, so we'll see when things happen. The stress of this round is killing me!

My application was reviewed by the 1st board on October 20th. My status on the website changed to winner on November 5th, so hopefully you don't have much of a wait ahead of you!

Waiting on our end as well....it's grueling and I wish there was a better way to do this but in the end, it is what it is.

The first board sent out a notification to all winners at once on November 5th. I'm "boarded" and have been since October 20th, so I should hear from this board which should send out another notification to everyone at once in the last week of January or first week of February. Good luck!

    ATTENTION EVERYBODY:

I also applied second board, last week I spoke with a representative from CADET COMMAND, and was told that RESULTS WILL BE RELEASED ON FEB. 18th. They have more applicants for the second and third boards, so naturally it takes longer for the decisions to be made and the results to be released. Contrary to popular belief, the board did NOT meet on JAN. 5th, they met the 25th-29th of January. Jan. 5th was just the deadline for all paper work to be turned in.
As always, Go Army. Beat Navy.

I am not sure there is a big misunderstanding this original thread and all the follow-ups are from JAN 2015. I do not 100% recall the dates from last year, but this thread had little to do with the JAN 5th paperwork deadline.
