So on the In-Processing Checklist it says to have the completed pages of SF86 stapled or clipped together. My question is if it says "completed" does that mean to only include the sections of paperwork that you actually typed/wrote something on? Like the entire section on Foreign businesses I have no input so can I just remove it from the packet that I take with me?

Actually, the pages covering foreign businesses or any other section on which you marked "NO", is still a page that has information on it. In the portal, it states you omit including pages that have no information or N/A; a "no" is not the same as "N/A" (not applicable).

DD and I just printed out hers last night, and, yes, we probably had 20 - 25 pages included that only have an "x" in the "no" box at the top.

Better to have more than you need than even missing one page.

Completed means everything even if the answer is "no."

One question I had was about the selective service number. I am not yet 18 so I don't believe I am registered (thus have no number). Do I just write that I'm not 18

So I can omit pages that are completely blank, such as the extra 5-6 Foreign Contact entries, and the Residency information ( since I've only lived one place my whole life)?

Yes, pages with ALL entries blank. My DD is doing the same. Like you, she only has resided at one address her entire life.

On your portal, either in the FAQs or other instructions concerning the SF86, it specifically states that pages that have no entries (except SSN at the bottom), have boxes marked "N/A", are not required to be printed or included. Once again, though, a "no" box marked with an "x" is considered an entry/answer.

A current cadet can probably confirm or dispute this, but I suspect once you arrive at the Academy, sometime after in-processing, either you or someone at the Academy will be entering all of the information on your printed SF86 pages into the "real" SF86 on an online system called EQuip. Thus, it is imperative that the information is as complete and accurate as possible.
