Does anyone have an appointment for an interview? Website says next weekend, but no call yet. DS had application in weeks ago.

When I applied, the response to organize an interview was done via email. I will check out the timeline for when I submitted and when I heard back if you'd like? Best of luck!

I finished my application Oct. 16th for the Oct. 19th deadline. I heard back about interviews before the end of October, about a week or so before the actual interview was scheduled.

Hang in there! Waiting is tough but Murphy's office was very professional and organized and will let you know. Good luck!

FYI - I received a letter by mail today stating interview time for this Saturday, 15 October.

Check your mail today if not received already.

DD's interview and nomination by prior Congressperson was accepted by Congressman Murphy's office as a done deal during the election change and forwarded as a nomination. My son was nominated by him twice with a personal call from the Congressman each time. His office is great dealing with applicants and they really know what the procedures are. Good Luck.

When I applied for a nomination, I was told about 200+ people applied for a nomination as well. I do not know if that is in total or for my choice, Navy, specifically.

From what I've seen, Navy is pretty popular and therefore more competitive...I have a few other people from CT in my company at the moment.

If you have any questions feel free to shoot me a message!

I think CT is a competitive state. Lots of people at each interview for both Senate and Congress.

On Friday I received a phone call and email confirming my nomination from Senator Murphy. Anyone else receive the same?

Good luck out there for those in CT!

Same. Does anyone know how long it takes to be reflected on the candidate portal? Congrats to all.

Truenorth, My DS received a call from Murphy's office last Friday as well, for USNA. He was told to expect 5 business days before his candidate portal would be updated. Hopefully it will happen today. Best of luck to your son. Cheers.
