Hi everybody, I was with my local B&G officer a few nights before my class selection sheet for my junior year was due. We went over my classes and made a few changes. However we decided on saving some classes for my senior year such as AP physics, AP chemistry and AP Calculus. Will these classes still show up on my application?

Thanks

Yes, in addition to sending in your transcript which will show all classes including junior year, you will be asked to write down what courses you are taking senior year and what level they are in one of the application files (I believe it is the Personal Data Record). Btw.. taking AP Chem and AP Physics in the same year will be quite challenging, especially with your other AP class(es). What science class are you taking this year?

This year I am only taking physics. I was going to take AP Chemistry until my B&G officer told me to wait until senior year.

Sadly not since I would have to be taking the corresponding math class this year which is AP Calculus.

My DS, who is currently a Plebe at USNA, took AP Chemistry his junior year and AP Physics his senior year. Does anybody understand why the OP's Blue and Gold Officer suggested not taking AP Chemistry in the junior year and waiting until the senior year?

My BGO told me to just take a year off of chemistry. I'm not able to take AP physics yet which really leaves me with just physics this year.

I agree with my BGO since I will have an open slot for a class next year and I will be able to fill it with either AP chemistry or AP physics. Next year is going to be a tough year with both sciences.
