announced today-Air Force Aca budget cut 12%, forcing many changes-cut 10 academic majors, cut many admin and instructor positions etc. No word on other academies, but must be similar-also probably ROTC
Tough times-related to Sequestor? dont think so--comments?

I don't think the other SAs will necessarily have the same depth of cuts as USAFA. The AF seems more inclined to fund it's technology/planes rather than personnel and commissioning programs. Obviously JMPO....

It's certainly related, in the immediate, to sequestration. Believe it or not, sequestration didn't go anyway, and it's still a factor in every agencies budget planning.

In the long term, I think cuts are coming to the services and their training programs, including the academies.

We heard USMA is going to economize by having periodic hot water, functional plumbing, and heat furloughs in the barracks.

    oh, wait.... nevermind!
