Hey, I will be going to an "Service Academy Information Day" at my congressman's office tomorrow morning, and I just had a few questions.

First, what exactly goes on at these events? Is it just a presentation where all the different rep's talk, or do we walk around and talk to them individually?
Second, should my parents come along with me?
Lastly, I was planning on wearing khakis/polo shirt, is that fine or do I need something a little more formal?

My son went to one several years and it was worthwhile. Representatives from the different SAs spoke and I believe each one had a cadet with them who also spoke. There was an opportunity at the end to meet the different reps and my son was able to speak with his WP MALO. I spoke with one of the female cadets who was very polished and charming. I also spoke with her mother and found out about the West Point Parents' Clubs. Everyone was very helpful and glad to answer questions.

Khakis and a polo shirt is fine.

Answered your question on the USNA thread. If you have any specific questions about USMA I'm fresh back from a week of MALO training and glad to assist you.
