Shaving

How often do you shave at the USMMA? The reason i ask is because I myself am pretty hairy (yes its true), and I will shave my facial hair in the morning and my hair will grow by evening.

Well, I hear some cadets shave three times a day at West Point. A good electric razor can come in handy. So. You may have to shave more than once a day....I suspect the standards are the same at all The SA's. A minor detail, believe me!

You'll have to shave as often as it takes to keep yourself out of trouble. When you're at sea though you can get as hairy as you like on most ships. You should see some of the terrible goatees that are attempted.

Electric didn't do it for me...I recommend Fusion...I shave once, sometimes twice a day, with and against the grain (takes some time to get used to but it's worth it). The last thing you want if for an upper class to pull out their ID card and run it across your face as everyone around you can hear your stubble scraping.

My son has a fast growing beard and shaves once a day. During indoc you may only use razors.....no electric. After parents weekend you can use electric.
