Interesting article earlier this week in 'The Day' (New London, CT newspaper) about shrinking class sizes at the Academy. Says 2017 will be 235.

After receiving an appointment, a cadet's task of navigating throug the Academy is definately not easy...fewer opportunites for 2nd chances are being given.

As a parent of a 2/C, we're hearing the same story from our cadet.

Best wishes to all the 2017 appointees and those still hoping...

Happening everywhere at the service academies it seems. Not unusual as the winds change regarding service needs during a period of drawdown.

Good luck to all. Hang in there...
