SLE acceptance

Oh maybe it didn't, sorry. I thought it did, this is the third program I've applied to and all others required it.
 
Just got my accceptance email, very excited!

A close friend of mine from school was also accepted.

Some of my stats: 33 ACT 222 PSAT 4.17 GPA Water Polo & Swimming
 
I just got accepted this morning. Although the session their offering happens to be at the same time as the last week of school for me.:frown: Hopefully I'll work it out so I can go. Some of my stats are rank 5th of 900, varsity baseball, and 4.0 gpa. Hope to see y'all there.:thumb:
 
Got my acceptance e-mail today! For reference I have a 30 on the ACT, 4.8 GPA (weighted), 1 out of 412 class rank with lots of EC's, although no sports except for 1 year of triathlon club (unless you call marching band a sport, where we rank 3rd of our size in the nation). Praying for you guys, keep sticking through!

You take the CFA the day after you arrive first thing in the morning. If you pass it, you're done and don't have to worry about it later in the application. When your application opens, it won't be an option to submit. If you go to Navy SS you can also send that score to West Point. Air Force won't record your score because they say the altitude puts most candidates at a disadvantage.

Just remember, your squad leader is watching you the entire week and will also do an interview on you, so you want to put your best foot forward.

Are you still allowed to retake the CFA to get a better score?

Depends on your RC. Most of the time it makes little difference (at least if you prepare before you go) especially since it only counts for 10% of the application.
 
Waiting on email

So I, along with a friend of mine have both been waiting on our emails...so far we have gotten nothing...we both have good, not great stats, but they are above average...does this mean we're in a waitlist? I mean, not being flat out rejected is good, right?

Yup. Welcome to the club; we might be waiting until April before we find out...

Same here! They said they would keep sending them out from March 4-7. Tomorrow is the 7th so hopefully we will all find out by tomorrow!
 
I got the email today that my son got accepted for the SLE. 4000 applied, only 500 will be accepted per email. There will be only one session 1-7 June. due to budget cut and renovations.
 
I did not receive an email either. Hopefully they can send all rejection/acceptance letters by tomorrow instead of waiting until April.
