This June, in my state, the week of Boy's State is the same as one of the weeks of the SLE. I'm applying to both, and is there a way to make sure that I am able to go to both if I'm accepted?

    Conflicts....

I don't think there is a way to reschedule one or the other. Its pretty much set. If you do find yourself with a conflict, in my opinion, I would attend Boys State.

There are two sessions of SLE, so just choose whichever date that doesn't coincide with Boys State as your preferred week.

    Common conflict.

Boys State adds points to Whole Candidate Score. SLE does not.

    Choose wisely.

Very good point. After talking to Admissions people and Rep's, they said BS/GS is better. USMA doesn't consider SLE when applications go in. I was NOT selected for SLE, but I got the acceptance call from my MOC two days ago.

    Thanks

Thanks very much, I had no idea that SLE wasn't considered in the prospective Cadet's score.
