SLE Notice

DD got the thumbs up for SLE! Anyone else?
I haven't heard back about SLE but I applied on the first day (Jan 15)... I hope i'll get news soon! Does your daughter have very good SAT scores because she heard back very fast!

DS got invite to SLE, did not fill out app. on opening day but a few days after

If you don't get accepted to SLE, don't worry. I didn't, I worked hard on act and other areas and just got my acceptance. Best of luck.

2019 WestPoint class appointee

Recipient of 4 year army rotc scholarship.

Filled out app on first day, and haven't heard anything back. Were you notified by email, or were you just checking the portal?

I was just accepted too! Does anyone know how long we have until we have to accept the offer?

My son Timothy (11th grade) was selected for West Point SLE in June. He received an email yesterday Feb 5th. He's waiting to hear from the Air Force Academy Summer Seminar. Their notification date is March 6. Hopefully he will attend both. This way he can decide which Appointment to pursue. Timothy is also attending Boys State in July.

Congratulations! Now that you have accepted your offer to SLE, please go
to your candidate portal and complete the SLE Offer Kit. All forms and the
registration fee are required before you may attend. Please read over the
information carefully and submit completed forms on your candidate portal.
If we have other information to put out, we will post it there as well, so
please check back often.

Attached is a copy of your SLE Attendance choice for your records.

You guys think waiting for this is bad...just wait until you actually finish the application...hardest wait of my life. Roller coaster ride of emotions.

Did you guys just self-report your SAT scores or did you actually pay to get your scores sent in from Collegeboard? I'm debating whether or not I should pay to get them sent in....Will they just believe my self-reported scores?
