Hi everyone,
I'm new to these forums and I'm excited to become an active member. I've had the dream to attend West Point since I visited it with my Cub Scout Pack when I was first grade, and now I am currently high school junior.
I was accepted to SLE and I'm absolutely thrilled. I cannot wait to get first-hand experience at the Academy. The thing is, I got assigned to Session I - I had requested Session II but I guess the only space remaining was in Session I. Two of my final exams overlap with the dates of SLE Session I, and I was wondering if it would be appropriate to ask USMA for a change in session.
My college guidance counselor will try to reschedule those two finals for me and I almost certainly will be able to attend, but he wants me to ask USMA Admissions to see if they can switch me from Session I to II anyway. Would that be appropriate to ask? Does anybody have an answer to the question before I contact the Admission Department? I don't want to be "that kid" who creates trouble for the Admissions Department in their tight scheduling.
Thanks so much and Go Army!
