For those who have done SLS in prior years, is there any time to study in the evenings? Finals will occur after SLS. Would you recommend bringing books to study in the evening or is having study time unrealistic? Thanks.

I was in the same boat last year and brought some textbooks along. You'll have a very limited amount of free time each night, 30 minutes if you're lucky. I used the car rides to and from to study.

i remember having up to an hour as the week went on. you might also have brief periods throughout the day back in your room, but don't get too involved in studying because you need to be aware of what the cadre/other students are doing. use those times of standing around and waiting to concentrate on what it is you really need to study so you don't feel so overwhelmed when you do get the chance.
