SLS Confirmation

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to know if anyone had confirmation that West Point received their paperwork yet.

I enabled tracking on mine, and it reached them (and someone signed for it) on the 20th. But my portal still doesn't show any activity and I haven't heard anything. I'm starting to get a little worried!

I did the EXACT same thing and I am in the EXACT same situation. I guess we just sit tight for a little bit, or you can call admissions.
 
I just wanted to make sure other people weren't already getting news back because then I'd be worried about my papers having been misplaced.

I'm sure they're very busy with the Class of 2016 right now, so I don't want to call and create more work for them unless people who sent in their forms after I did start getting their placements.

I sent mine via UPS last week and got confirmation that it was delivered this Tuesday. I checked online around 2 this afternoon and my portal says that my papers have been received. I now have a box that allows me to pay for the session. Anyone else have this? And if you have, any word on which class/session date you have been selected to attend?
 
Yeah, my portal now says that all my papers are in. I just paid, and I'm hoping we don't have to wait another two weeks to find out which session we're in!

Anybody know if we are notified before we pay as to which session we will be attending? Boys State in GA is held June 10-16, and I was planning on attending SLS and Boys State back to back. Obviously, I can't attend both at the same time. So I really want to attend the first session of SLS.
 
I didn't see anything that said which session I was in so I just paid the $350, but in my case I am able to attend both sessions without any conflict so it doesn't really matter to me. Now I'm just waiting for my SLS tab to update saying that the transaction was completed.
 
How long did it take for you guys to notice a change on your portal? I sent my acceptance forms in about a week and a half ago and I'm getting a little worried :confused:
 
Took about two weeks. Don't worry it will update soon.
 
Woo-hoo, I got my 'Offered' status updated to 'Accepted'! I paid, got my official email, and now I've got the pdf of 'SLS Instructions.'

YAAAAAAY! :shake:

Anyone else going to Week 1 with me?

I was changed from "Offered" to "Accepted" today too. I'm going to week 1. Stoked!
 
I'm going to Week 1 too! And I got my status changed to accepted as well. Where does it say which session we are in. I know I applied for week 1, but I would just like to see it with my own eyes.
 
Welcome to "Portal Lag". You'll stop worrying about it as you go through the process of applying, etc. Until the "FINAL" update, of course. That one seemed to take forever and DS was on there every 4 hours in the end, hitting "F5" like a madman.

I got an email first that told me I was accepted. In the email it said which session I would be attending, so check there.

I am attending session 1! :thumb:
It was great to see the SLS schedule today and to be able to see what they have in store for us!
I have a question for those traveling from the west coast (Phoenix to be exact). I am having a hard time finding a flight into Newark that can arrive by the 1:00pm deadline.
I'm curious...what are others doing that are in the same situation??
 
Well, I'm from California and I have to arrive the day before and spend the night, because there literally are *no* flights that arrive anywhere before 3:00 pm.

I have not yet received ANYTHING regarding SLS yet, not even conformation that my papers were received....what should I do???
 
The middle of January, i then learned that I needed my PSAT scores to be updated which took a couple weeks or so from no fault of my own( my Candidate Technician just retired and I was unaware), I haven't heard anything from them and cannot get any information about weather my application was even reviewed:mad::mad::mad:

I also heard that candidates were supposed to receive a packet in the mail with instructions after their application was complete, I have also not received it
