Snow Day

Called the kids over to look at that picture...

son said, "Oh wow!"

Siblings said, "Oh, you are going to be COLD!" "Fun for you." "Yeah, right."

I think the littles and middles all think he is NUTS for wanting to go north of the SC border!

He'll dislike the snow equally as much as not finding sweet tea!

Ah, you are aware that the 4 basic food groups are

sweet tea
beans
buttered biscuits
barbeque.

Really, though, he is a milk-drinker. There was UNLIMITED milk at my college... I hope it is so for him at his, too. He'll be in heaven (nearly).

Yes...milk in huge quantities is really a must. My son drinks so much of it that I cannot imagine what he will do if it is limited. We go through about a gallon (maybe 1.5) a day around here and most of that is him. One of the cashiers at the local market calls me the milk lady. I didn't think it was unusual to buy 4 gallons at a whack?

We were supposed to have trainings from 8AM-4PM yesterday instead, which in my mind is worse than classes. I got so much work done yesterday, it was wonderful.

Inquiring minds want to know.....

if there is unlimited milk? and if you have a hankering for some in between meals, can you get some? Come on Zachogden....give us worrying moms the scoop! :shake:

You can only get that delicious freeflowing milk when the wardroom is open for business, which is usually 630-8AM or so, whatever time lunch is, and then 5-7PM during the week. They let you grab a half gallon or quart of it to put in the dayroom fridge if you so desire though. I do that and enjoy some cereal in my room from time to time.

Thank you Zachogden

I am relieved to hear that you can store some moo juice for in between meals consumption. Son will be happy. :thumb:
