I am new to this forum, so please bear with me if this question has been asked and answered. I have read back the first 4 pages and haven't seen an answer.
S received an LOA to USNA, subject only to receipt of a nomination, just before the end of the year. A week earlier he received a letter from one of our state's Senators stating that he was well qualified, etc. but that he would not give him a nomination because they had been informed that he had "received a nomination from another source." That's great, but he hasn't yet received a nomination from anyone else.
Question - do the various MOC in a state's congressional delegation keep in touch with each other re: nominations? In other words, can he rely (for his peace of mind only) that he will be receiving a nomination from another source?
